Hello guys, I was wondering if I could share some of my symptoms with you to see if I might have crohns disease. I have been having very bad stomach aches since I was young and a lot of difficulty going to the bathroom. But it has been just within recent years that I've been having a lot of bowel movements in any one given day. I do feel a warm burning sensation in my stomach and intestinal area a lot and I have constant heart burn. This has always been there. But the going to the bathroom sometimes 10 times a day is getting worse as of recent months. If I go into a restaurant and eat an all you can eat buffet 95 out of 100 times I will have to get up and run to the bathroom in the middle of the meal or shortly afterwards.

It's getting to the point that it's really making it hard for me to do my job and I'm a a truck driver of sorts. Now, I know it could also be collagenous colitis but I always get this filled up feeling all of the time and I never ever feel like i've been totally emptied out after a bowel movement. The thing is that it is not necessarily diarrhea, it is just frequent softer broken up stools. It's a lot of stuff that comes out, just broken up and softer.

I do not feel nauseous at all. It all has to do with the crapping and fullness in the stomach. I am also fearful that if I do have the disease and having gone this long with it, there could be permanent damage. I am a very tough person and can live with a lot of problems before I seek medical attention. Thus I've never really thought anything about this other than the fact it might be nerves since I do have a lot of anxiety and social phobias. Any help or questions you can ask me to help me figure this out are welcomed. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

Hi there, we do have an undiagnosed forum if you'd like to stop by :)

To me, your symptoms do sound more like IBS, but you never can be sure and always better to find out if it's not and know what you're facing. It would be worth seeing a GI.

Whatever you have it sounds serious enough for you to need to see a Gastroenterologist without further delay. Toughing it out doesn't help with these diseases and you are right that if you delay you may be suffering damage that could have been avoided. Get medical help.

Yeah, you guys could be right about the IBS, because I've been reading about some of you who suffer from chorns and there seems to be a lot of debilitating stomach pain. I do not have debilitating stomach pain, more of a lot of acid reflux and a burning feeling in my stomach, a low level tolerable warmness in my stomach and bowl area. I am however tired a lot. I sleep a lot and I always feel sluggish and disoriented which could be a symptom of the disease. I am gonna go see a doctor soon. I'm a nationwide delivery driver but I'm home for a few weeks getting my own company started and I have some time to get this looked into. Any how, thanks for all of the help!
