my name is olivia and i was diagnosed with crohns disease a week after my 18th birthday in febuary. Im still going through alot and learning alot more. the one thing that still annoys me is the weight loss. many people come up to me, in school and out, asking for weight loss tips. when theyre told that i dont loose the weight on purpose, people continue to ask. im learning to get over it, because i know i have a long road ahead of me. im hoping to meet new people on here, because its hard for me to find people from school whos going through what im going through.

Theres alot of really nice people who understand what most/all of us are going through.

I only wish I'd lose weight. Way too much Prednisone over the past 3 decades has had quite the opposite effect on me. Count your blessings, is my advice!

Good luck to you. It gets easier with experience and your social anxiety will be a thing of the past eventually.
