Hi everyone, I have been lurking here for sometime and have found some invaluable info on this site, for that I would like to say thank you. I have had Crohns for just over 6yrs and have tried every med on the book with no success, and have been in a constant flare for over one year. Running out of options, I an now on LDN which so far has proven to be a god send for me. Feeling better everyday and so good to go outside and worry about where the nearest bathroom is! Hoping this lasts but will take it day by day.
Again thanks, without this forum I wouldnt be feeling better.

Hello and welcome to the forum, I am glad you have now decided to join :)

I am glad things are starting to pick up for you, are you still being monitored by your GI doc to check on disease activity? Out of interest what meds had you been put on previously? I take it the LDN is your only treatment at the moment?

Welcome to the forum 67Muzz!

I am glad you found the forum useful so far and decided to introduce yourself.

I am glad you also have finally found some relief with LDN.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forum!

Welcome, Muzz. Love that car, by the way! Glad to hear the LDN is helping. I've yet to be put on that, but hear it is a miracle for some!

Hi and welcome! So glad LDN is helping you! I am in a similar predicament, having tried all conventional therapies and actively flaring for the past year. Would really like to give LDN a shot but have yet to find a doctor open to it.

How long did it take for you to see an improvement with it, and what is/was your dosing schedule?

Than you everyone for the warm welcome!! Havent got the hang of this site yet, so have to reply like this lol.

AVW: Hi and thank you. My dosing schedule is one 4.5mg cap everynight around 9.30pm, I have only been on it a short time just over 2 weeks, but wow such a difference already.

CLynn: Hi, and thank you, that car is my pride and joy, havent been able to go out cruising for awhile no strength to drive her with no power steering and was feeling too sick. Looking forward to taking her out now im feeling so much better.

mikeyarmo: Thank you, looking forward to being on here and meeting u all

Angrybird: Hi and thak you to you too. Yes am monitored by my GI, markers are down. Was on Remi, 6mp, methotrexate, Imuran, pred, sulfasalzine. Am now only taking LDN and am down from six sulfas a day to 3.

Hi David, thanks, good to be here, such a great site for info and support. Will keep everyone updated on my progress with LDN, hoping it will help others as I have been helped here:ybiggrin:

Hi Lulu, thanks for the welcome, great to meet another Queenslander. Where abouts are you in this great state?

Hi all, just a quick update, had blood test today, almost 4 weeks on ldn, all came back wonderful. Doc and I very impressed, no symptoms at all. I feel like I did before I had Crohns, I am back to exercising and being social again. Cant believe what a difference this drug has made to me. No side effects and I FEEL AWESOME.
Hope others are having success on LDN too. So glad I started this med. I truly urge others to try it.
Muzz
