I see a new GI specialist in a month. I am currently taking Entocort which is m really working well. My question is will the new doctor be able to confirm Crohn's disease and it's location if I'm on Entocort and feeling well? I will have been on it for 6 weeks by the time I see him. Could the drug treatment possibly make testing look normal or mask the disease with normal results? Of course all of my records have been sent to his office. Part of the reason for the referral is to confirm Crohn's ( or some other reason for the symptoms). I'm thinking he may want to do more testing and I don't know if Entocort will mask anything.

It could influence inflammatory markers but given your tests weren't conclusive and you are being sent for this reason im sure it will be taken into account.
