I was diagnosed with crohns colitis 8 years ago when I was 16 years old. I haven't had to many problems I wasn't able to handle with my diet until recently. Some of which I'm extremely embarrassed to say out loud. I have discovered mucus in my stool, some cramping but really not a lot, my bum is really sorry like a large knot on the side of my cheek that's very tender!???? And I've even experienced a little leakage? I have a Dr appt set but has any one else ever experienced this? I feel like maybe it's not my crohns maybe it's something different? I've been in remission for 8 years and even with all these problems I still don't have a lot of cramping.

Hello Doglover24 and welcome to the forum! :)

Mucus in stool is usually a sign of inflammation. When was your last colonoscopy? Are your seeing your GI for that doctor appointment? There have been members who've dealt with leakage before, the knot sounds like it could be an abscess but hopefully your GI will be able to figure out what's going on. Many people are asymptomatic sometimes so there could be a lot going on with few to no symptoms, everyone is different and every flare is different.

Sorry for the late reply. Welcome again. :)
