Hi got the news when I was 10 now 13...... 6mp works ok for now got to watch what I eat. I have found can't eat at fast food places but wendys (thats strange) but I can eat pizza-nice...looks like I can get good info at this fourm.... sooooo hey everyone CD13=Crohns Disease at 13....P.S. I hate blood test pass out all the time

welcome to the forum. I'm sorry you're having to start all this at such an early age, but you'll learn what you can and cannot eat, It's trial and error unfortunately, and everyone has foods they can eat that someone else can't. You'll find a lot of general advice here, lots of support and fun. I use to pass out at blood test, too. I don't remember when I grew out of it, but I did eventually. You'll be okay. Again, welcome to the forum.

:welcome: CD13 !! Glad you found our community, there really is tons of information here, and friendly people to help with your Crohns. I never passed out for anything, needles don't bother me, just IV's when they dont get it in the first time. So sorry you are dealing with this at such a young age. Your diet choices will help along the way. Stress is a gut aggrivator too. Hope you join us and good luck.

Hi CD13, welcome to the forum and I'm sorry you have had to experience this at all, but especially at such a young age.

I used to find that stress could trigger pain, so the best tip is to stay calm and relaxed.

Hi cd13. McDonalds is a killer for me even when I'm in remission. 5 minutes after I eat it I'm screaming for the bathroom.

Hi CD 13, my son was dxed at ten this last December. 6mp is his maintenance drug as well and he is going good on it too. Maybe you could get your mother or father to join us as well. I'd like to hear their feelings about your situation as well as yours. Good luck!!
