Hi all, I'm a new member just introducing myself. I was diagnosed officially in June of 2013 with Crohns (I think?) but have likely been suffering from the disease for the past couple years. I am currently on Apriso and pred but am in need of a new drug. Methotrexate, humira, and remicade have all been mentioned and I'm currently trying to research my best option. Any help would be appreciated as to your preferences. I was on 6MP but had a serious reaction with joint and lower back pain which forced me into the hospital in essence paralyzed that went away after a day or so but I definitely can't take that drug or Imuran since it's related. It was a freak reaction so I don't want to scare anyone else away from this drug since some do well on it but I guess somebody has to be the statistic for problems. I'm leaning towards remicade but just curious what others think. Thanks.

I'm from southern Jersey and my doc is in Haddon Heights.

I'm from south jersey as well, but seeing a doc at cooper gastro in mt.laurel

Not too far away. Hope you like your doc. I'm happy with mine, seems to have common sense which is hard to find in many doctors.
