I have recently been diagnosed with Crohn's....within the past 3 months, as you can all imagine it wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear when I was told 'Yes it looks like you have Crohn's' and the worse part was not knowing how to take it. I have always been one to hide my feelings, put a smile on and carry on like normal, so once I was put onto my new medication (pentasa)this is exactly what I have done.
Although, I have had to have a course of steroids due to having erythema nodosum appearing on my legs again as well as struggling with a few mouth ulcers (nothing compared to the 30+ I had before I was officially diagnosed). I am back off the steroids now and continuing with pentasa.
However, being a second year uni student with two part-time jobs (roughly 12 hours a week) I am finding I am extremely tired, i tend to get at least 8 hours sleep a night, I'm also finding it so hard to concentrate, I can't focus on my work and finding it really difficult to listen to my lecturers but over the past couple of days I have been really struggling, with feeling light headed, headaches and feeling a bit sick. I don't know whether I'm getting myself stressed out over my work load or what.
Am I the only one who feels this? Is it the condition or is it the medication?
