Hi All! I am new to Crohn's Forum. About 19 years ago I was diagnosed with Crohn's a year after I gave birth to our first child. Like most everyone the actual symptoms had been around 5 years before I got diagnosed. Doc told me not to have any more kids so of course we had another child about 4 years later! That's when the trouble really started! I ended up in the hospital when my youngest was 18 months for two months with fistulizing Crohn's. After a resection and 3 months with an illeostomy, I was put back together and have been in remission for 13 years now. Praise God! About a month ago I had a routine colonscopy and the doc thought he saw some ulcers but the pathology results weren't conclusive. So today I had a pill cam. I may have to start taking Immuran if the results are gnarly. My motto; live every day to it's fullest because tomorrow I may be stuck in the can! LOL :ylol2:
