I was diagnosed with crohns disease 4 weeks ago after being diagnosed when a CT scan was performed.
Once diagnosed I was released from hospital and prescribed paracetemol and was told a dietician would be in touch (which they still haven't) and I would need to go and have a colonscopy done. I have my appointment to see the consultant for that next week. I have been suffering severe bouts of pain and vomiting. I am barely eating but my concern is is yesterday when I got home from work (barely managed to work the shift) because of the pain, I spent the whole afternoon in bed with severe pain and constantly vomiting black bile?? Is this normal for anyone suffering with crohns disease? Do I wait to see my consultant next week and mention it to him? I'm sorry I know so little about this disease but it is taking over my life significantly and any advice would be be greatly received. Does anyone else vomit black bile??
