Hello, I had surgery in June to drain a RV fistual. A non cutting seton was placed, and it was removed in September.

I was wondering how long after the seton is removed did others notice any sort of weeping? I do not have any kind of infection, nor is there another abscess, but at times there is still a small bit of fluids. I still use maxi pads and notice a bit of a clear yellow fluid.

Its so frustrating! I had thought when the seton was removed I was on the road to having this thing finally heal and gomaway, but it's been a slow road so far.

Mine haven't, I really hope you have better luck.

My surgeon was treating them as a stand-alone event, they never even considered that I could have Crohn's. My new GI doctor is leaning towards a diagnosis and trying Setons again + Remicade.
