It's around 2:00am New Years Day and DS is on the toilet pooping and vomiting :( .I'm doing everything I can to not cry in front of him.

We're pretty sure it's not gluten. He didn't eat much today and has felt great all day and night up until now.

The vomit (1x so far) was very pink and I think there was some blood but my husband just thinks it was dinner (tacos). He's pooped a couple normal looking stools and some mushy. He says he feels better after each BM. Complaining of pain level 5 just under his belly button in the center though.

I hate this. Gluten? Red meat? Stricture? Crohn's? C diff? Lupus? So many things running through my mind right now, I don't even know where to begin.

Happy 2014 :(.

Oh no Mehita. :ghug: I am so, so sorry to hear this and hate to think what you are thinking and feeling right now. :(

I hope whatever is going on soon settles and is easily explained away hun. Good luck, you are in my thoughts.

Just found out my niece who is staying with us was vomiting last night as well. Would it be completely rude and mean to be doing a happy dance right now? Consensus among our adult guests this morning is stomach bug.

Read your post and my first thought was I hope it's that awful stomach bug going around and it will pass quickly

Yep! WE had a bug here and it was exactly the same...pain...feeling better after bm and then vomiting. Sorry to say this but hope he has that same bug.

DS recovered pretty quickly this morning, but my niece is looking rough. Of the six kids, it seems to have hit three of them, plus one adult. Totally disinfecting my house after they leave tonight!

So happy it was a virus!! This disease can sure put you in a panic state quickly! When something like this happens to us I then rejoice in their immune system working and getting rid of the virus bug! :)
