Hi everyone,
I was just prescribed Arcoxia (30 mg) by a urologist for pain relief (I was just recently diagnosed with chronic UTI). As far as I know (although I haven't done much research yet), it is a fairly new NSAID that doesn't inhibit Cox 1, but it is still not advisable to take it if you have Crohns or UC, apparently.
I will only be taking them very occasionally, and the urologist thought it would be okay to use them in moderation even though I have Crohns colitis. I have not yet talked to my gastroenterologist, but thought I would check with you guys if you have any experience in taking this drug? Has it worsened your Crohns at all? Would love to hear your experiences!
xoxo
