Hi All,
After some advice from all you lovely people. I had a total colectomy last year, and for a few months everything was great. But the inevitable happened and now the Crohn's is back. I am just shocked about how aggressive it it, I am now completely on Modulen and although it is keeping a lid on things, I am not going into remission. If I eat the tiniest amount of food, I get symptoms.
My dietician said to try the LOFLEX diet, but after just a few days I couldn't continue on it and went back to full Modulen.
I'm thinking about trying SCD because I don't really have any other options. But is Modulen compatible with it? Can I do part Modulen part SCD? I'm not so sure because it is so sweet it obviously contains sugars.
For example; I travel a lot with my job, and in some instances I think it would be easier to drink Modulen than it would be to find food that is legal on SCD. Or perhaps I'm wrong - does anyone have thoughts on travelling whilst doing SCD?
Would be great to get your thoughts,
Dawn.
