I absolutely love spicy foods but I haven't had anything spicy in almost 2 years and I don't have to explain why, but... how dare this site have a Papa John's Pizza advertisement for their chicken wing pizza flashing at the bottom, jumping in my face! Grrrrr!! Lol.

I usually get IBD-related ads at the bottom, but on ocassion I'll google something and then later the ad at the bottom of the forum will be whatever I just googled. Like, I googled Black Friday shopping ads earlier today and then I got an ad at the bottom for one of the stores I had looked at. And I had googled a menu for a certain restaurant chain and then got an ad at the bottom for that restaurant. Did you, or someone using the same computer, recently google Papa John's? That's all I can figure. It's at least somewhat related to what you google.

It depends. If you allow Google (or whatever service) to track what sites you visit and collect information on you, the ads will be related to the sites you have visited. If you don't, they will most likely be random or related to the content of the site you are currently on (they will show ads using "key words" from the page).

If you have a Google account you can go to: www.google.com/adspreferences to opt out if you don't want them to collect data on you, or change your demo information to get ads that are "more relevant" to you.
