Orange blood?

Is there such a thing as orange blood or is this mucus. I saw orange in my stool.

Ron, for the past four mornings I've wiped orange blood after a morning movement. For me, it means things are finally beginning to settle, after seeing bright red blood in the pan, in the stool and on wiping.
I'm not sure what it means for you though.

It's possible that there could be some older blood mixed with stool and/or mucus making it look orange. Back when I had my resection which later got infected I had orange liquid coming out of the wound which was a mixture of blood and white blood cells etc. Maybe you could request a stool test from your GI or GP to check for any blood.

No. I have considered changing doctors. I have an appointment next week. They just got some blood work along with urine sample and stool sample. I am going to ask why they haven't been responding lately.
