Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can give some advice. I have pain quite low down from the right side to the middle of my of my tummy & I have a high temperature & feel quite unwell.
Its bank holiday weekend & dont really want to go sit in a&e for hours as we have a new puppy at home & partly because I am scared of not being allowed back home.
I just feel exhausted & the paracetamol & the dreaded Ibruprofen (I know I shouldnt but I felt so bad) are no longer working. Is there any other pain killers that are safe to take.

I have too much going on to be ill right now.

I forgot to add I have had the pain for about 10 days but it has begun to get worse over last 2 days. It started 10 days ago when I had a tummy bug. I know it was a tummy bug & not the Crohns as my girls had it too, but I am now left with this nagging pain low down.

running a high temp and feeling unwell plus the pain .. dont bugger about and call the NHS DIRECT LINE 0845 4647 .. they will pass the info on to a doctor and if the doc says so they will either come out to you or get you in to see the local doctor !

please dont leave it .. this is exactly what i done and it cost me a ambulance trip in the end.

Hi thanks for the reply.
My hubby is home from work soon so will will help with the puppy. Other dog had an op Wednesday too. Why does everything happen at once.

if there no help then you can get 8/500 codamol over the counter at a chemist , these are the strongest you can get without a prescription.

there 500mg of paracetamol with 8mg codeine (dont take these if you have takes paracetamol in the last 6 hours).

have you tried a hot water bottle , it does work belive it or not

also note .. you can take paracetamol and ibufen together.
