perianal absess
My husband has Crohn's and is suffering from an absess which the hospital Registrar has now put him on antibiotics for. He thinks the antibiotics probably won't work but with it being Easter they want Paul to ring on Tuesday to see how he is. Well, it's definitely burst but the head of the absess is inside his body, so just loads of blood and mucus coming out. Would you still wait until Tuesday when his nurse specialist is back at work or should he ring NHS Direct?
Sorry to be naive but he's only recently been dx with Crohn's and it's all new to us. I can't get him to use the forum, so hope you will welcome me.
Thanks.
