Pimples on scalp

I have been on Remicade since December, and just started getting pimples on my scalp. They eventually scab over, then I'll get a new one. Has anyone else on Remicade had this problem? If so, did you have any success getting rid of the bumps?

I get pimples on my forehead. I have been trying tea tree oil bit they haven't gone away. I don't know for sure if it's Remicade causing it

I actually had my acne die down a bit on Remicade. Have you seen a dermatologist about it? They may be able to determine the cause for you.

i've had this same issue since starting remicade, the pimples on my scalp are very painful. also seeing new pimples on neck/face a bit as well, but not as bad as my scalp.
i did see a dermatologist a few months ago about an infection i had on my leg. he mentioned that when the immune system is busy fighting something else (like UC in my case) that the first thing it ignores is the skin, hair and nails... being on an immunospressor like remicade would certainly add to that i would think.

Hi,
I saw a derm and he won't tell me what it is, but he prescribed medication for Psoriasis and it is helping, but hasn't cleared up the problem. I have a call in to my GI doctor wondering what to do from here. The Remicade brochure that I have says "if you develop psoriasis tell your doctor, who may withdraw you from this medication" or words to that effect. I am waiting to hear from the GI's nurse to figure out where to go from here.

Do you get pre-meds like Benadryl and steroids before your infusion? I used to get bad eczema/psoriasis reactions to Remicade and when I got both pre-meds that stopped happening.

I get Tylenol and benedryl pre-meds before infusion.
