Hi I'm an 18 year old currently undisguised.
I have a bunch of plantar warts (on feet) and they will NOT go away! I've been to the pediatrist. They were frozen, have had acid treatments, and scraped and legit NOTHING!
I've never associated them with my stomachc issues. But could they be related? Should I tell my GI about my warts?
Does anyone else have these?
Thanks!

I had plantar warts first show up when I was 6 years old. They were scraped off and presumably gone, but then a few more showed up again when I was 19. I still have 2 and have always wondered if they are somehow connected to my IBD issues (since warts are viral), but have no information about that.

I get them now and again, have had fairly large ones in the past but they eventually went away. My daughter recently had a couple, but they only hung around for about 2-3 months then died off on their own.

I pretty much ignore them now if I have any pop up, and they seem to take care of themselves.

Are yours bothering you when you walk etc? My doctor told me about using the 'duct tape' method - cover the wart with duct tape and leave it on for at least a week - then take the tape off and some of hte wart may come with it - if there is still wart there, scrape off the dead skin/tissue then cover again and repeat as necessary.....I haven't had to try it so I don't know how effective it really is.

had them when I was a kid. they went away, a few came back, but by the time I was 30 they were permanently gone. Nothing to do with Crohn's as I wasn't diagnosed until I was over 40.
