So I hope you like the title haha

I was wondering if anyone else suffered from this because it has been plaguing my everyday life wayyyy more than it should. It shouldn't at all.

Well now that I have healed myself I know that I don't have to worry about having loose stools, hardly ever, but for some reason I still have this anxiety that I am going to have to poop at bad times, even when I have already gone for the day. I know it is just the anxiety because when I have days just staying home I only go once and thats it. When I go out for the day, all the minutes leading up to it seem to be anxiety about what if there isn't a bathroom? am I going to humiliate yourself? will you be able to go before you leave to go out? and I poop at least 8 times. It is literally the most stupid thing because I know it is only myself holding myself back. I really hate it and I would realllly! love to get rid of it,for good, before I go to college and do all that fun stuff. It seems to be better in the summer time for some reason? must be choosey? but I have never had it this bad EVEN when I was having diaherrea now I have normal formed stools, feel great, and I worry about having an accident. It just seems all backwards.

Has anyone else gone through this and do you have any advice?
Thanks!
Hannah

Been on pentasa pretty much since I have been diagnosed so about 7 or 8 years now. Hoping to get off of it soon.

I wouldn't,t stop it unless your doctor says to.it is the mildest treatment option I think and initially I didn't,t think it did anything but it's made a big difference for me,so be cautious.all the best, good luck

Well I have effectively been able to get my inflammation under control without medication so I am confident that I will do better off of it instead of have another drug in my body. Im sorry to hear that! I hope you are doing well :)

How long have you been in remission? I think it will just take time. the longer you stay in remission, the easier it is. I no longer worry about it because I get PLENTY of warning of issues.

I have been in remission for about a year now. Wow that's great you no longer have to struggle. I am learning techniques now that should really help me in the future.

remission with medication though. I'm hoping that i will be able to get CBD oil soon so that i can discontinue my Asacol and biologic. I live in MA, USA where MM became legal last year with dispensaries scheduled to start openning last month. I have an appt next month to see my Dr. I'm hoping she's on her road to licensing.

Well I hope everything goes well with this. It definitely is possible to go into remission without medication. I hope you have alot of success with this!
