Possibility of a fistula, you know where :(

Hey there,
so I have had a fistula before but somehow it corrected itself before the docs could figure out what to do wth it. I have been having pain in my tummy and in the v area when having a bm or after, not all the time but most of the time for over a week. im seeing my gyn today about it, would she definitely know if I formed a fistula in there ?
