Well, it IS a skin infection. And I am due for a shot tomorrow. Do I need to call the doctor or muddle through?
I had what I thought was a bug bite on my arm, but it just didn't seem to want to go away. I have had it for two weeks. It was red and felt like a bruise more than anything - not really itchy but when I scratched it, it would hurt like a bruise. I showed it to a freind that is a med tech. She said I should put anti biotic ointment and a bandaid on it. Well, now it is bigger and it looks infected now.
And, I wonder if I should take my shot tomorrow. I should probably go to the doctor to make sure it isn't something bad. It is strange that it stayed the same size until I started treating it.
Now I have visions of MRSA dancing in my head. Ugh.
