Hi there, everyone!

I've been away for a while, I hope all of you are feeling ok!

I am going to give everyone a quick update:
The beginning of September I became very ill with a flare.I ended up getting fired for being sick.Right now I am in the process of filing for disability. The job I had was the easiest in the world, and as much as I hate to admit it, I wouldn't be able to do some 9-5.I had a piercing job, and I am missing it very much. :(

Fast forward to today, I just found out I am expecting!I have 5 boys, so this will be my 6th pregnancy. My husband and the boys are all very happy.I am too, but along with all the happiness comes alot of worry.Mainly because I am on sooo much medicine.I've tried talking with a few different docs about my concerns, but the soonest an OB will see me is between 8-10 weeks. So, my first trimester will pretty much be over with by the time I can get in.
The meds I am on are:
Remicade
Prilosec
Vitamin D (50,000 units)
Tramadol (2 tabs 4x daily)
Oxycontin ER (1 tab 3x daily)
Zofran

I also was on a high dose of steroids and 20mg of Celexa.Since I had a *suspicion* that I might have been pregnant, I hurried up and discontinued them both. The celexa alone was hard enough to get off of.I don't know how I am going to get off the rest. :( I believe the oxy is actually a class B for pregnancy and tramadol is a C.So, it seems like the oxy would be a better choice. It makes me mad, because the doctors know my concerns, but still won't see me.This makes no sense.

Wondering if anyone else has ever been in my shoes?
Also, because I have crohns, does that necessarily make me high-risk?

Any advice/suggestions are welcomed and appreciated greatly. :)

xx

cant say botu the tablets your on as when i was pregnant only took pentas i refused the steriod and stopped taking them just beciase i was scared.

I was a high rik coz of my crohns but everyone is different i guess x ask for a telephone appointment if your concerned. x

Im 20 weeks and classed as high risk due to crohns even though im in remission.

Im on Infliximab which i stop at 24 weeks and I started Azathioprine at 13 weeks and i keep going with that indefinitely. Im told they are both safe at these stages.

Hope that helps.

Kerry, even know you are in remission, you are still considered high risk? I just found out last week that I am pregnant. I will be six weeks tomorrow. As far as I know I am remission. I am taking pentesa and have been on if since sept 0f 2011. I am soo glad that I wasn't in a flare when I got preggers, I hear that alot pf women flare there entire pregnancy. How far along are you??
