Pressure

I am wondering if any of you ladies have experienced ongoing vaginal and rectal pressure and if so, was it determined to be related to Crohn's? Also, any tips on how to deal with it? The vaginal pressure is driving me up the wall.

I think I may have a mild proctitis happening, not 100% sure though. Scope is in 2 weeks.

I had a hysterectomy quite awhile back, due to adenomyosis, so it's definitely not menstrual.

Im with you on that one. I have proctitis...that is the part of my Crohns which does not want to go away...and all the lovely things that come along with it, including pressure. Sometimes I can relieve it by using the recliner to elevate my feet or taking 20 minutes in a horizontal position works. Sometimes tho I just have to grin and bear it...it's very annoying to feel like you are 9 months pregnant!

Thank you so much for the reply! It's nice to know I am not alone, but I also wouldn't wish this on anyone.

I will try the recliner this evening. I wish they had them at my work, ha ha. Would love for the pressure to go away, it's relentless.

Another idea...bring a doughnut pillow for your chair at work. You will get made fun of, but a softer seat sometimes helps.
