Question

I had an ileoceacal resection last Friday and I came home on Tuesday night. I obviously wasn't allowed home until I had BMs. Had D but was told that was normal. However since I have been home I haven't had a single BM. Do you think I should ring the doctor or am I worrying over nothing? I'm not sure what is normal but I thought I would have D for a while. It just worries me if I'm not having BMs that things might not be working properly.

I would appreciate any comments or advice

I would call just to be sure. It never hurts to ask questions.

You may just not have enough in you to have a bm.
