Questran versus Welchol

I've seen a few post with people mentioning that they take Welchol but they seem to be in the US. Just wondered if anyone in the UK is prescribed this. Also what are the pros and cons versus Questran which is a life saver.

I prefer Welchol because of the taste factor when it comes to Questran. I'm in the states, though, and don't know if they prescribe it in the UK. I take 3 big pills in the morning and 3 at night (but they're easy to swallow) and it helps the bile acid problem. Questran helped me, too, but not as much. I also did not look forward to drinking orange-flavored sand every morning and night.

I am on questran the powder is gross but it's only till the end of the month

I take Welchol. Works wonders, I love it!
