Rash Attack

A couple of days ago I started to develop a rash that is spreading all over my body. It seems like anytime I itch, the rash appears in that spot. I'm on aza and have been for many, many years, but this is the first time I remember the rash spreading. I know I've been in the sun a lot lately, but have been avoiding it as much as possible the last few days.

Has anyone had the issue? I'm also on Pentasa, but don't think that's the issue.

Is the rash predominantly in areas exposed to the sun? Or everywhere?

Everywhere but my torso. I callled the GI on call this weekend and he didn't think it was my meds since I've been on them so long. I finally went to Urgent Care and they gave me Pred and Allegra, stay out of the heat/sun and don't eat allergy foods (nuts/strawberries). It's day 2 of the meds and I'm not see much change. I think it had to do with heat/sun.

Sun exposure on Azathioprine can certainly cause problems and I know others have had the problem around here. Hopefully that's all it is though I don't know how long it would take to go away. Maybe someone else can comment on that
