Rash on thigh

Just noticed when I was in the shower that I have developed a rash on my thigh with some odd red spots further up my leg. Its not itchy, but it was the pain when the water was hitting it like when you shower with sunburn. Possible azathioprine reaction? I am also on pentasa,prednisolone and infliximab.

Definitely call your doctor and let them know about it. I got a rash on my face from Pentasa and my GI had me stop it immediately. If it is from the Aza then they may want to adjust your dose. Is the Aza your most recent addition to your meds?

I have an appointment with my GI on Monday, do you think it would be safe to wait until then? The most recent medication I've started is Omeprazole which I started last Saturday and I started my Infliximab 3 weeks ago and have had 2 infusions since then.

If it isn't bothering you or spreading a lot then it may be ok to wait until you're appointment. What you should do though is take a picture of how it looks now just in case it starts to diminish or goes away completely before your appointment.

Thanks Jennifer, I've taken a picture of it to show him on Monday. I've not had any bother with it at all apart from when it's touched, but I'll keep an eye on it today
