Hi, just after some advice , I have had crohns for circa 15 years, suffered with constipation mainly , used pred for few years , and found molocure/ floracell got me off meds, just needed lactoluse to get to toilet. 2 yrs ago no longer needed anything, however past 2 months severe diarrhea, going toilet many times watery substance horrible smell with fresh blood, I have started molocure again slightly better, I have no pain like years ago , has any one experienced from one extreme to the other constipated then severe diarrhea with blood? I have been taking hgh growth hormone for a injury ( 2 ius not prescribed by doc could this have dne it. Any help would be appreciated I have no pain feel well, have to wait to see doc on Tuesday , scared it could be cancer ?

When I was first diagnosed I never had bowel symptoms it was all very much upper GI. I had severe activity in the duodenum and TI.

Since starting treatment I think the duodenum has settled down but the TI hasn't, hence why I now feel like a Crohn's patient when I didn't before!

I veer from one extreme to the other now just as you describe. I also get pain which I never did before. Hopefully another few months and everything will settle, it's still quite early days for me I guess.

Where is your disease activity? I think the rule of thumb is generally that small bowel Crohn's tends to create constipation but there are of course exceptions. I'm always constipated first, and then once that passes it's the bloody liquid variety with increasing urgency :-(

my small bowel was where the main problem was, look into floracell from florida, I used to have to take pred daily even to drink a cup of tea , no sides and natural, thanks for replybe well
