Not sure if this is connected to Crohns in any way or is just something random that's happening to me but the past week or so, my jaw has been absolutely killing me, like a really dull ache in the joint. Also, the back of my tongue feels like I've pulled a muscle. The only way to describe it is like whem you've been really sick and you sometimes fet a sore tongue the day after if that makes sense? Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Thanks in advance and sorry if this is completely unrelated to this forum.

Hi there,
It seems like crohns can do just about anything. I get ulcers on my tongue and in my mouth but never just a sore tongue without the tell-tale bumps. Joint pain is pretty common with crohns but I have not ever had it in the jaw before. Do you have any other joints that are hurting?

Hope you feel better soon.

I started to get jaw pain and my left jaw joint would come out of the socket occasionally. It started a short time after my son was diagnosed. It is from clenching my jaw, primarily in my sleep apparently. I wasn't aware that I was even doing it. It usually happens when someone is under stress.
