I have gone down to one Entocort a day, last one is tomorrow. I had a 6 week course. My next infusion is this Thursday. Also a lot of storms moving in and out.
So, my dilemma is what is causing these wicked headaches? It starts in my sinuses and works it way to my ears, feels like my teeth hurt. Good grief!

If you have had these what did you do/use to make the pain go away?

The headache is winning the battle right now and I have to work in the morning!!

Thanks Ron-

One of my meds was a different generic brand this month. I know all the chemical components are the same but, for some reason there is only one brand I can take.
I am hoping thats what it is.

Entocort gave me horrendous headaches both times I was on it (I was on the name-brand the first time and the generic the second time - both gave me headaches). And like you said, it was those awful ones that start in the sinuses. Mine always tend to then wrap around the back of my head and go down into my neck. They're awful! It seems like the higher the dose of Entocort, the worse the headaches. My GI had me on 3 mg for awhile at one point, and the headaches were tolerable, but my guts weren't improving much, so he bumped me up to 6 mg for a bit. At 6 mg, the headaches were noticeably worse and more frequent and lasted longer (sometimes they'd last 5 days at a time).

I don't know if that's helpful to you, but that's my experience. I haven't been on Remicade so I don't know anything about that and headaches. Bad storms will sometimes trigger headaches for me as well - it's currently raining here quite a lot and I have felt headachey all day (although I just got new glasses as well so that could also be causing this headache). I feel for you, I hope you can get things figured out! Those headaches that start in the sinuses are just horrendous and I hope you feel better soon!

Remicade always gave me migraines.. I take Excedrine Migraine (Bad NSaid, but if it works then you do what you gotta do) Also putting an ice pack on the back of my neck and over my eyes always helped. I hope you find some relief.. Bad headaches are miserable!

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I have now been off Entocort for a few days. Today is the first day I didn't have a headache that needed medication. I have Remicade in the morning so hopefully no headaches with that. Now if I could just get my eyes to stop twitching.

The next two weeks are going to be very stressful at work and I am not sure I will make it though without having a big medical issue. I am in no way in remission!

The dreaded eye twitch! I get that when I'm stressed. Try some breathing techniques to help calm your system down. Google breathing techniques vagus nerve
