I'm 15 years old, and I've had Crohns Disease for about 3 years this month. I've been on Remicade for about 1 1/2 years and I've been having troubles with Remicade. At first, it started with a few heart palpitations after the 4th treatment. Then I started having blood pressure issues but that was for one night. Today, a couple hours ago, at about midnight or so, I began to get very light headed out of nowhere. My left big toe hurts and my right leg hurts a bit and it feels heavy. I can barely walk without almost falling over. I'm very fatigued. I was wondering if this was a side effect. I just had a treatment monday this week. I had heart problems at karate the next night. Should I talk to my doctor?

Yes, talk to your doctor. There can be neurological side effects with Remicade.

My son has not taken remicade so I don't know too much about it other than what I have read here. Hopefully someone more experienced will post soon. But, I would call and let the Dr. know about your symptoms just to be on the safe side.

((((Hugs)))))

Yes, you should be talking to your parents and your doctor. Neurological symptoms should not be ignored, rather they should be addressed as soon as possible. There is the chance that the issues you are having are NOT related to Remicade - better to be checked out thoroughly!
