Well, my dr. got my results and he said ibd with a possible infection, so now i have to do stool test. I was dx in 07 with mild colitis but after the last colonoscopy the surgeon came to talk to me and i asked about the colitis and he said not sure, maybe crohns. I will be seeing him on june 16th so ill ask him more. I asked dr for meds for ibd and said wait for the results of stool test. I really wish i would have got this last test done bya gastro dr.

Sorry to hear about the frustration you have experienced as of late. Hopefully the next two weeks will go by without issue and you will get back on track after the stool test results come back.

Hi Matty,
It sure can be hard waiting for test results to come in
and wondering and worrying.

If the test should come back positive you can always
speak up then and ask to be referred to a Gastroenterologist.
A good doctor should never be offended by a patient asking
for a referral.
