Second Opinion

My current GI is one of two GIs in my city. The other one is his brother-in-law. Given this fact should I seek a second opinion for my diagnosis of crohn's of the ileum outside my city from another certified GI?

Hmmmmm..............if you are seeking a second opinion because you have issues with your current GI, as opposed to simply getting a opinion to set your mind at ease, then I would go elsewhere. Just my opinion but I would have trouble getting my head around the fact they may exchange notes, if you know what I mean.
