sick of being sick

Some days I want to say forget it and eat aa cheese burger and a pizza. I'm. Hungry and everything hurts my stomach. I want to get out and do normal things, instead I'm home in pain and I'm grouchy. I'm sick of it. Today is one of those " why me?" Days. .. I'm in so much physical pain sometimes and I HATE IT. I need a break from my intestines .. a
Long Mexican vacation.. no medication no steroids no pain killers no diets just me and the beach. I'm completely annoyed. Thank god for the VENT FORUM

We've all been there! Hang in there and try to resist the bad foods. Though for a month before my surgery I had the "I'm going to feel like **** anyway so I might as well eat what I want" attitude so I'm not really one to talk.

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you!

Thanks Amy.. some days are good and some are bad.. I'm going to try and stay positive. I'm gonna kick and scream for a minute and then I'll be ok. :0/

I hear ya, Kelly! I host a mean pity party on my bad days. But like you said, there are some good days and some bad days. So, I suggest trying to just take it day by day. If today is not so good, just pray tomorrow will be better - and I sure hope it is!

Kelly, I was echoing your words just yesterday! 12 years of this crappy disease, 12 years of "gee, you don't look sick" or worse: "wish I could lose weight like that..." Am @ my wits end. New doc; supposedly new beginning; puts me on pentasa, okay... puts me on 6MP... have never been so sick in my life.
Sick of being sick... hang in there... you're not alone.
