Hey guys so ive been really sick all the typical symptoms last night id ecided to go out for a bit b.c it gets my mind off the pain - ive been overly busy (anxious) just because of how bad i feel, I was sweating all last night with cramps and was dry heaving, diarehha in the morning - i dont want to eat and i have no choice but to go to classes all day 2day - i see specialist in 1 week was trying to hold of on prednisone!!!!! kind of not sure what to do at this point im in my last eyar of school and canta fford to take any time off

So sorry Mark, I hate that feeling you are getting. Going to school or work isnt fun either. Only a couple of suggestions. One for the nausea, Gravol has a natural antinauseant now, ginger, they have lozenges or pills, that will help some what. Also just stick to Ensure or boost for a few days, I know it is hard but you will have to stay away from risky foods. Applesauce without sugar will help. Where is your pain RLQ? You could have scar tissue or narrowing so stick to ensure, I know it is not cheap but it will get you thru the next few days and if it gets worse, go to ER! That is an order! :hang:

thanks yeah i got like 80 cases of ensure so its not a problem - just getting fearful b.c its coming on fast!!!!

in really rough shape manging to take down some ensurees but falling apart - im away from home got ahold of specialist back home he said try to get an emergency appoint. with specialist where I am but there phone is on answering machine - might go to emerg!

spent the betetr part of 10 hrs in the ER last night - I was on a few IVs and given pain meds - gonna start prednisone 2day - I still feel just awful - trying to get ensure and soup sdown - my blood work came back normal and my results of my small bowel follow through werent bac k yet. I am up trying to go to class - the morning nausea is overwhelming - its like i ma being woken up by nausea and my acis levels are soo high

Thanks for the update Mark!

I hope the Pred does the trick in bringing this under control and you start feeling better soon. Try to take it easy but that's easier said than done. Please keep us updated!

Hey Mark what city are in going to school in? Many times they have doctors and or counsellors to help you. Someone could help you if they know the area you are in , if you feel uncomfortable about posting that, just pm me ok. Maybe I could help or someone. :hang:

i started my prednisone, i see the specialist wednesday - im gonna rest up and hydrate this weekend thanks all for your help - i was prescribed losec as well will this help? my mouth is all burnt from acid
