Skin outbreaks. not like me.

I am usually pretty lucky when it comes to my skin. It's rare that get any spots usually when I do its my own fault for picking.

but recently ive gotten outbreaks every where. Ive had them on my head which seems to prevent hair follicles from growing. Luckily I had a fringe cut in which hides most of them. Ive had a couple small ones on my trunk and armpits. But I have had some HUGE ones in my ears and nose. The ones in my ears are finally draining. The pus was green so im assuming its more than likely an infection. But the huge one on my nose isnt budging no matter what I try to draw it out (hot compresses acne treatments antiseptic etc)

Could my meds be causing this?
Im on azathioprine and remicade mainly. Along with supplements and as and when meds for nausea pain etc.
Ive been on the aza for years n not had this before. The remicade ive had before but I recently restarted this med could this be the cause? Or just my rubbish immune system lol

Remicade can cause skin rash and ulceration as per http://www.rxlist.com/remicade-side-effects-drug-center.htm

Have you been in touch with your GI about this? You may need to see a dermatologist but if you had pus it sounds like an infection. I hope this gets resolved. It definitely is uncomfortable not knowing what's wrong.

Like NGNG, I'm curious what your GI said. What was their opinion?

Just gotta keep an eye after next infusion. Could just be that im "run down" generally. Have swollen tonsils etc so could just be my body fighting infection but to bring it up if it carries on after next infusion/gets worse then to call.

not sure he certain of the cause yet either. Guess its a peocess of elimination like most things lol
