Having been injecting Humira for 3 yrs now it's been working well for me so far. It's just that lately I've been developing skin reactions. Has anyone else been having skin eruptions/rashes/hives etc. My gp thinks it's not a reaction to the injection, rather the fact that my immune system is compromised. Has anyone experienced allergic skin reactions whilst on humira?

I developed dyshidrotic eczema after I stopped the Humira. I don't think it was medication related, more of an immune problem I believe. The humira had stopped working, and I was flaring pretty badly. I tend to get breakouts now when I'm under stress or my inflammation is out of control.

No hives or rashes though.

I have what the doctors call drug-induced psoriasis - from the Remicade. I didn't get it initially, but moreso after a bout of strep a couple years ago....

Thanks for info guys very helpful. I guess skin issues are going to become a feature of this treatment! After 3 years of treatment with Humira and stability for the first time in 26 yrs I think I'll stick with it! SarahAnne do you mind if I ask you how long were you taking humira for?

Hello,
Get all information about skin problem and solution very useful tips about skin problems and solution and also some useful tips about skin.

Hi there,
I've been on Humira for about 3-4 years now and I have developed dermatitis on my left toes, eczema on underarms, oddly a weeping belly button, it will get scratchy and then start oozing (nice), I get eczema between my boobs too (it's a sod for making my fake tan look dodgy there). I also bruise easily and I have (I think) some form of eczema on my bottom too. I have steroid creams for all this and it's a palarva to do as I put them on x3s a day and It's now a ritual after showering.

Humira gave me horrible acne on my face, back, and chest. So bad that I decided to get off of it and I am now just taking Imuran and searching for an alternative. I also experienced an itchy rash from the Humira that would show up anywhere on my body randomly. One time I got a huge rash on my face..... so yeah i decided to get off of it immediately. The really sad thing though is that it was actually working for me :( However, the acne and rashes were just getting out of control. It puts me in a tough spot trying to weigh the pros and cons :(

I have Dyshidrotic Eczema, its started about after 2 years on humira.

Dx'd JAN ,3/2013

I haven't been on Humira. I have skin issues from the Crohn's. I developed a scalp lesion developed from Remicade.
