Skin rashes from Remicade or Humira

I've been on Humira for about three months now. I'm taking it every other week and recently while shaving I noticed that I had a weird rash on my chest. It's quite itchy, red, and is easily irritated. I went to a Dermatologist who feels it's some sort of inflammation and that it may be due to my lowered immune system from the Humira.

Has anyone here ever had a skin rash like this while taking Humira, Remicade, or any of the other immune response lowering drugs? Thanks for any input!

I'm wondering if any of you have (or had) skin rashes after being on Humira or Remicade. If so, how did your doctor treat it, if at all.

Here's my story, and I'd love to hear yours too!

Hi,

With Remi no, but Humira yes. Mainly chest and underside of the arms. Took Fexofenadine for a while which got it under control and now do ok without.

Yes - I have been dealing with some type of eczema and/or psoriasis for a couple years at least now...hadn't really been too bothersome until last year when I got strep - and then what I think was gutatte psoriasis....most of my body was covered! I still have patches, and what looks like inverse psoriasis under my chest area.....they verrrrry slowly seem to be going away.

Yes, numerous chest infections that never cleared and then after a few months a really gnarly rash on my chest that was red and then had pustules. They said it looked like a type of acne at first but then just toldme it was the humira and absolved themselves of helping (GPs).
I was happy to deal with it over the crohns symtpoms til it stated bleeding too. I think what helped clear it up (other than stopping humira) was tetracycline - an abx. low dose for about a month or 6 weeks.
