Today I walked four miles and worked out a lot in 90 plus heat. When I got back home I was so tired. By 9 o'clock at night I fell asleep. Why is it that the one night I fall asleep at a reasonable time and I wake up at 2:30. What the hell is going on? It's just annoying, I haven't gotten to sleep before 3 o'clock. Then the one night I do I fall asleep early I wake up. This is pissing me off. Anyways, I'm done ranting.

I thought the same thing until I realized last night that I only drink one coke a week, maybe two. I also take meletonin supplements. I think I need to go to one of those sleep specialists because nothing else is working. I ended up going back to sleep at 6.

I'm a little afraid of being on sleeping pills. I don't like the idea of becoming addicted to things. I have already had that problem with benedryl at one point and that took quite a few sleepless nights to get through. I was supposed to go on lunesta but my insurance didn't want me to take it and I still aven't gotten that resolved yet.

I find that if I go to sleep before 12am, I'll only sleep between 4 and 6 hours. Any later than 12, I'll sleep 10 - 15.

I put all sleep troubles down to the disease.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Kimberlie I'll have to try that. I'll look for it this weekend when I go to walmart.

I ended up going to walmart last night and I found simply sleep. Wow! is all I can say. For the first time I fell asleep around 11:30 and I only woke up for a few minutes in the middle of the night. Thanks so much for the tip. Lets see how it does over the next few days.

Yeah, keep us up to date... I might be interested in picking it up. How much was it?

Hey Jeff,

That is horrible not being able to have decent refreshing sleep! Glad you found what seems to be an answer to help you nod off and stay that way. Would be curious to know what is in it though that aids sleep.

Keep us posted. Thinking of you.

i just googled Simply Sleep, it has an antihistamine - diphenhydramine - which is also found in Benadryl.

figures - when my kids took antihistamines for rashes etc... they always fell sound asleep at night. in fact you can now buy non-drowsy Piriton, which is a well known antihistamine here in the UK.

Today I have been so busy I don't think I'll have much of a problem sleeping but we'll see. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Thanks for asking it's been going well but the past week I have been talking to my friend till 3:30 or 4 in the morning. But it's fun. At least I can get to sleep right away now.:)

Haha actually most of the time it's because I have a lap top and I leave it open so some nights it may seem like I don't go to sleep at all because my name is always on here.
