I'm not sure if this is a Crohn's thing or not, so here goes. Lately I have noticed a sharp pain at the very bottom of my right buttcheek. and then lately my BMs have been hurting afterwards. I leave for out of town next week and I won't be back for a couple of months and my GI doesn't have time to see me. I will be doing nothing but spending time in hospitals and doctors offices while I am away so I can seek temporary care while I am away, I just don't want to go for no reason. I notice it when I walk upstairs the most. I have never had any problems with Crohn's other than my colon being ripped and bad flares. If I am being stupid please feel free to tell me to stop being paranoid!

I can't really figure out how to update my profile, but I am 23 F. I have had Crohn's since I was 18

No you are not being paranoid,
it never hurts to ask,

does it hurt when you sit down? what about where the sharp pain is? Is there anything there that feels like a lump or swollen?

and what do you mean it hurts when you move your bowels?

it only hurts when I use that muscle there isn't any bleeding that I have seen, and my rectum (gross) hurts after a BM. nothing is swollen. Just sore

may or may not be the same, but my butt was sore and bowel movements were very painful almost felt like i was bruised inside after a bm. Turned out I had a large abscess in my bum cheek.

May not be what you are experiencing. At the end right before it ruptured i couldnt walk, or sit or move....even laying down was painful....it was so bad, i would rather have flare pain then that pain again.

hope whatever it is you get it figured out.

Skippy I feel like I missed a joke or something....

Yeah ya did, lol
I was talking about the post that was deleted where Claire Ruby told you to complete yourself.. where she asked you how old you were, your gender etc,
:ycool:

My son has been fighting an abcess (and fistula) for a few months now. It started with a pain in his bottom (couldn't see anything when I looked) and we thought it was just a pulled muscle after a football game. It was 2/3 weeks before a lump appeared. If it's hurting doing a BM then maybe you have a fistula inside the rectum that is getting inflamed.
