Sodium phosphate tablets

Actually managed to get an email back from my new consultant last night and he says that I could try sodium phosphate tablets (my suggestion) and was going to sort it at hospital , has anyone else tried these - I am wondering if the reason why they dont get offered normally is because they are more expensive maybe. Anyway if I take these hopefully it will be significantly easier than drinking engine fluid even if I take hundreds of damm pills. Am concerned about what results will show though - pain is high up above belly button now when I have a flare up so dont know what this means, I seem to be having to use laxatives a lot now to un bung me which is a little worrying. Does anyone else have this problem.

Hi perdita, Did they mention anemia, I think that is what they use it for. Peggy

Thanks Mike, will google osmoprep like you suggest, - am I right in thinking you didnt get any side effects when you took it other than the obvious one!!
