Some feedback?

Hello! I've had Crohn's disease since I was three. Since then, I've found I'm allergic to many of the Crohn's. I tried Remicade two years ago, and it was a total failure. Right now I'm on 6mp and Allupurinol, and Prednisone to stabilize my current flare.

I am probably starting up the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. Is anyone familiar with this diet?

Hey Picarat! You might have more luck asking in the diet&nutrition subforum. The teens subforum is pretty quiet, because people forget to check it, and a lot of people have lives. haha

Me, I've never tried the SCD. But, there are a numerous amount of people who have tried it, who aren't teens. So, like I said, maybe give a try in the diet&nutrition subforum.

No i have never tried that diet but what does it consist of . i have been on moduline which if u dont know is a milk formula given to give ur bowel a rest it was horrible and ill be honest i didnt last long on it. When i lost tons of weight whilst on predisone when ur actually suspected to put on weight on them i had these special calorific drinks to help boost my calorie content.
Let me know please if u think the diet is any good as i am seriously thinking of looking at my diet, if it helps with my crohns then ill give anything a go as it is flaring a lot recently..
