I can't believe I spent the past 20 minutes or so going through the kitchen and looking at the nutrition info on all the cereal boxes and some of the canned goods...

I found out that Special K cereal contains both Iron and Vitamin E..
Iron causes vitamin E to Oxidize, so they say not to take the both together, maybe this explains why I feel a bit nautious if I eat special K...

I posted a couple of questions in Ontariomom's thread about her nutritionist appt.. I am going to make a list myself to send to my nutritionist too...

I thought maybe we can use this thread as a workspace to try and figure out what foods, cereals, etc contain conflicting minerals and vitamins (meaning a combination of things which are not meant to be taken at the same time such as the Iron and Vitamin E)

I was only taking fish oil and D3 gels with my lunch. The G.I. told me to add iron and folic acid, so I've added those to my lunch menu as well. But then I wonder if I should take all of those at the same time. Morning is the time for my Colestid tablet, supper is when I take my 150 mgs of Azathioprine. Sheesh, just read one of David's posts yesterday that tells me I should take the D that has other things as well, boron, mag, etc..
