Sore throats

Hey there, just wondering if any of you guys get sore throats a lot. I seem to be getting them every few weeks recently. Mostly in the mornings and at night, I can barely talk with them as they are so sore. Just wond if its another crohns side effect? Thanks

Yep Minky - several threads have been started on this recently! Guess it runs in "the family". Have you tried running a humidifier at night? It seems to help me a lot since it is when the heat gets turned on in the house and the air drys out that the sore throats seem to come. I use an ultrasonic humidifier - easier to keep clean and there are no nasty filters to buy.

I had the same issue. Sore in the morning (every morning) and hard to talk (very hoarse). Never an issue with my tonsils although they would be enlarged on occasion. It lasted about a year till the doctor finally scoped me and said I had Esophagitis (or Barrets). That's the only symptom I had (never really had heartburn) and you should have seen the size of those ulcers.
