Starting to really worry

Afternoon everyone, well today I was put on pentasa, 4 pills 2 times a day.. I only took one set today and my stomach started running.. I never had a problem with diarrhea but now it seems I am.. Im wondering if this is way to much for my body... I never had a problem with sulfasazine (sp).. Wow I'm sitting here and not moving from the bathroom because my tummy keeps making weird Sounds and I'm scared to get up just in case of an accident lol.. Do you guys think this is normal for those who know about this medication

The last time I was on pentasa my doctor warned me that I probably would get diarrhea for the first few days from it. I actually didn't but it is definitely a side effect of pentasa and the way my doctor was talking it will get better. I would either wait it out for a few days and see if it gets better (drink plenty of fluids) or to be safe call your doctor to see if they think it is a side effect and if you could take anything for it. Feel better!
