Still waiting on results...

So I had a CT Scan done last Thrusday...I am still waiting on the results.Finally the nurse fitted me in for tomorrow at 2.But said if they perso who cancelled calls to have the appt. back they get it and I have to wait.Hows that work?I mean you made me wait this long for results because they can't tell me on the phone but you'd make me wait even longer if someone who cancels their appt. calls to say they want it back...Grrrr....I just don't know about the medical aspect of things anymore.

Hmmmmmm.........I don't understand that either. If you cancel, you cancel. Once that spot is filled there's no going back. That's my opinion anyway.

That's ridiculous, they shouldn't give the spot back to the person who canceled. And they should at least be able to tell you your CT scan results over the phone; my CT scan results were ready by the next morning and they told me the nurse would be able to call me and tell me the results (I had a GI appt 2 days after my scan so I waited to talk to the doc about the results). Good luck, I hope you are able to get somewhere with your results and your appointment!

Well I got my results and they said I have an ovary cyst at 5cm and my liver is enlarged to twice its normal size hence forth the reason I keeping gaining weight instead of losing it.SO had more blood work done for that and I go for an ultrasound for my cyst.Life is so hectic right now.
