Lately I've been experiencing severe pain at night. My stomach seems really bloated, and the pain differs from an isolated area on my right side under my ribs, to the complete stomach area. I found that taking a bath reduces the pain, but while lying in the tub my complete stomach is in movement almost a shake. Since then I've noticed that this is happening taking baths even when I am not in pain. The doctor didn't really acknowledge my symptom, he just said I was distended. does anyone else experience this?

I used to get a similar thing when I had plenty of strictures. I could actually watch everything move, looked like the movie "Alien". It appears to have been caused by "stuff" backing up behind the stricture, then squeezing through. I found a little relief by going to very soft or fluid diets.

When I get like that, I tend to belch (really smelly) burps, usually culminating in vomiting and severe fatigue. At its worst, It's been quite painful and I've been described visibly as "6 months pregnant" (I'm a guy). Eventually, this leads to a bout of d, which I can't say I've seen it happen, but it almost "unplugs" and drains out the bottom, like you removed all the leaves from a gutter full of water. Yuk!

These have been stricture problems for me, and especially if you know you have a stricture, I would bring it up again with your doctor. I hope we're talking about different things?
