Stomach swelling

Guess its pretty normal for crohns but does anyone get it without the pain?

I seemed to be fine today. Had a few JDs and coke and my [wiki]stomach[/wiki] has ballooned in size. Didnt notice it until i went past a mirror. Guessing its the JDs Any remedies for this? bit late for not drinking it. Doesnt feel bloated either which is a bit strange

Oh definitely. I get it all the time in the evening with no pain. The only remedy I have found is a lot of really good farts

I always swell up as the day goes on. Sometimes with wind and abloated feeling, but sometimes without. Rubbing my belly in a circularmotion seems to help get some of the wind out.

A bit late with the advice (sorry!)...lol... but sometimes, if you can tolerate it, some sit-ups or stomach crunches get the gas moving (for babies with gas pains, we lay them on their backs and bring their knees up to their chest in a "pumping" motion)... walking helps too....

I have never tried it, but "Beano" is supposed to be effective... not sure if it is available there....
